Wiggly Bridge Distillery Tour – York Maine | Interview with David Woods – Founder & Master Distiller

When vacationing in York Maine, I had an awesome opportunity to sit down with David Woods, the co-founder and master distiller of Wiggly Bridge Distillery. Check them out: http://wigglybridgedistillery.com/ Wiggly Bridge Distillery made its start in 2013, named after the smallest pedestrian suspension bridge in America (Built in the 1930’s) which is also located in York Maine. Wiggly Bridge started distilling bourbon before expanding into vodka, gin, rum, white whiskey, and a full suite of aged agave tequilas. David founded the distillery with his son after the two of them sparked interest in distilling due to their love of bourbon. Distilling started right in the York beach area in the heart of the downtown action between the Goldenrod and York’s Wild Kingdom. After earning several medals across their amazing sprits it was decided to expand opening the distillery barn a few miles from the beach. Each week you can walk in for awesome events from live music, to cocktail training classes, and even personalized master distiller tours and foundations training. I can’t tell you enough how awesome it was to meet David and the staff and enjoy what was my first white whiskey. Heavily wooded, sharp, and very sweet. This is one I couldn’t drink neat and you’d be insane if you don’t!
